This project represents a third-person shooter (TPS) arena game where two teams of five players engage in fierce battles. Within this arena, players have access to a roster of 10 distinct characters, each boasting specialized skills and weaponry, adding depth and strategic variety to the gameplay.
The development journey for this game started over a year ago, during which the team has been diligently crafting and refining every aspect of the game to ensure a top-notch player experience. As part of the game's roadmap, it is scheduled for an early release in 2024, promising gamers an exciting and immersive multiplayer TPS experience that combines teamwork, strategy, and the thrill of unique character abilities.
Our contribution
The Argentics team has been involved in the development creation of the game from the ground up. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of deliverables, including, but not restricted to, the following:
Game Design: Argentics has played a central role in shaping the game's design, ensuring that it provides an engaging and enjoyable player experience.
Art Production: The team has undertaken end-to-end art production, which involves various aspects such as concepting, 3D modeling, animation, and visual effects (VFX). This comprehensive approach ensures that the game's visuals are boptivating and immersive.
Prototyping and Development: The game's development process began with prototyping in Unity, and it was subsequently further developed using Unreal Engine 5 (UE5).
Custom Back-End: Argentics has designed and implemented a custom back-end system, which includes the development of a robust networking component. This ensures the game's online functionality is seamless and reliable, providing players with a stable and enjoyable multiplayer experience.
Quality Assurance: Throughout the project, the team has strongly emphasized quality assurance. They have rigorously tested the game to identify and rectify any issues, ensuring that the final product meets high performance and reliability standards.
Argentics has been deeply involved in every stage of the game's development, from initial design concepts to creating art assets, technical development, and thorough quality assurance, demonstrating their dedication to delivering a polished and exceptional gaming experience.
